I december 2015 opførte Langkaer Gymnasium musicalen Se dagens lys. Manuskriptet blev skrevet af én af skolens elever med afsæt i den Aarhusianske forfatter Svend Åge Madsens roman Se dagens lys fra 1980.

Musicalens absolut mest iøjnefaldende karakter Igor (skuespilleren Denis, der kommer fra Rusland og flyttede til Danmark pga. sin karriere som professionel danser).

Det var min første musical på gymnasiet og jeg ser frem til endnu en musical i efteråret 2017
